A future subscription the Twitter service will be called Twitter Blue and costs $ 2.99 a month, tipster Jane Manchun Wong tweeted on Saturday. In early May, the social site talked about “an upcoming subscription offer that we are currently exploring,” in a blog post on Twitter’s acquisition of the Scroll ad blocker.
Wong also said that the service could have a tiered pricing model, with users who pay more getting more features, and she said that one of those features would be collections, which will allow you to save tweets. favorites in collections so you can locate them later.
We don’t know when Twitter subscription service will roll out, but the company has tested features such as cancellation of tweets, a Tweetdeck dashboard app usage fees and Super suit, which would allow you to follow a creator or publisher for a monthly subscription and get exclusive content. There is also scroll technology, which could provide Twitter users with an ad-free tweet reading experience.
Twitter declined to comment on the Twitter Blue news on Saturday.
