In this 2020 full of surprises, challenges and challenges for everyone, people knew how to see the best of each situation and put humor whenever possible. On Twitter, this was more apparent than ever because users turned to the platform to chat and share stories and fun experiences and positive to show that each one can contribute from their place to generate a change.
The limits are in the mind
One of the most beautiful things about Twitter is that some physical barriers are able to be blurred in the service. To remind us, Juana (@joanwar) showed us how she sought to “match her skin tone on the beach,” while at the same time sinking our hearts a little.
The craving with chili “the one that stings and the one that does not sting”
Among the various snacks that one finds in Mexico there is a special one: corn. Whether in the form of esquites, chileatole or the classic corn on a stick, prepared with cheese and other ingredients, it is one of the best memories of being away from home. When the doctor Alejandro Macías (@doctormacias) received this peculiar “consultation”, we all had a reason to laugh and remember how beautiful it is to walk through the streets of the country.
Let’s dance
And just as the pandemic arrived, in Mexico we had to pause the party. However, this was one of the funniest moments that were experienced in the streets of Mexico City; here, the only thing that was needed was a little music (nothing less than ‘La Chona’), a vehicular crossing and the good vibes of the people. Give me five!
When we are children, it is difficult for us to remain calm in all events, much less when it comes to being serious for a long time! This video shared by Gon Curiel (@GonCuriel) made us laugh a lot as it shows a girl giving ‘all five’ to a priest. It is his fun and carefree nature that reminded us of our inner child.
My neighborhood supports me
She is ‘Wichita’ and is one of the more members of @SofiaAltieri’s family, who showed how her sister had bought a peculiar shirt for the feline. And since the pun is something in which we Mexicans specialize, it didn’t take long to start with it: since it was so big, it became ‘Wichola’.
