Selular.ID – Twitter has announced that it is testing a reminder feature for its users to purchase limited edition products.
Quoting Reuters on Friday, several fashion brands, luxury product designers, and other creators in recent years have made a trend of special edition releases.
This special edition as the name implies is released in a limited way not only from clothes but also accessories.
The products sell quickly in minutes on social media and create competition among their buyers.

Twitter’s new reminders feature is meant to play up the platform’s reputation as a place for real-time news and information.
“This was directly inspired by the lively conversations about product launches on our service – from new game consoles and new handbags to the latest limited edition sneakers,” said staff product manager on Twitter Justin Hoang in a statement.
For example, when a brand tweets about an upcoming product launch, users can later select the “Remind me” option in the tweet.
Users or potential buyers will be able to receive application notifications 15 minutes before the item goes on sale or when the resale takes place after it has been closed.
This feature is limited to only available to users in the United States using Apple devices.
