Twitter Tests Circle Feature, Similar to ‘Close Friends’ on Instagram – Techbiz.ID

Techbiz.id – Almost a year since its introduction in July 2021, Twitter is finally testing the Circle feature.

This feature works very much like Instagram’s ‘Close Friends’, in that it allows users to send tweets to a specific group of people who are usually their own close friends.

Launching from The Verge, certain users have been able to taste the Circle feature, including users of the Android, iOS and website versions of Twitter.

“We’re currently testing Twitter Circle with a group of people on iOS, Android, and the Web globally,” said Joseph Nunez, a Twitter spokesman.

“This feature is not yet widely rolled out to everyone as we continue to gather feedback.” Nunez continued.

For those of you who get this feature, you can add or reduce the number of netizens in Circle.

Later, users who are included in the circle can see a tweet with a green warning notifying that only Circle members can see the tweet.

This feature can add up to 150 accounts to Circle, whether followers or not. However, Circle members were unable to retweet the particular tweet.

Also keep in mind that Twitter’s rules still apply even if the tweet is only circulated to certain users.

However, it is not yet known when Twitter will release it for global users, considering it is still in the testing phase.
