Twitter Takes a Step Closer to Becoming an “Everything App” with eToro Partnership

The head of “Twitter”, Elon Musk, has already talked a lot about his goal to create a so-called “everything app”, or an app that would provide the user with several functions needed in everyday life in one place. It looks like Musk will entrust Twitter with such a mission, as evidenced by the new partnership with financial services provider eToro. As a result, Twitter users will be able to more easily trade both company shares and cryptocurrencies.

It is stated that the new partnership will allow Twitter users to get to know more real-time information about various financial assets. On the other hand, if there is a desire to invest, the user from the “Twitter” app will be automatically directed to the “eToro” website, which gives the opportunity to trade in stocks, cryptocurrencies and index funds. eToro has informed that the new functionality will appear on Twitter on Thursday, but as of Friday, at least for me, it was not yet available.

It should be noted that the new feature was announced after Musk announced this week that he was adding Twitter to his X Corp company. Regulatory licenses have also been filed that will facilitate payments within the Twitter app, which is another step towards Twitter’s transformation into an “everything app” solution.
