According to the Associated Press on the 22nd (local time), Twitter has decided to permanently suspend Hamenei’s Persian account (@khamenei_site). On this account the day before, the image of a black shadow in the form of a fighter (drone) on a man playing golf in a red shirt, “The one who murdered General Soleymani and the one who ordered the murder must be punished. Revenge must be punished when appropriate. It was posted with the message “It will happen.”

Although the target was not specified, interpretations suggest that the message was aimed at the retired former President Trump. Former President Trump ordered the murder of General Soleimani, leader of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, in January.

In a statement, Twitter explained the reason for the permanent suspension, saying, “This account violated the policy related to’manipulation and spam’, especially the opening of fake accounts.”

Earlier this month, Twitter suspended Hamenei’s English account (@khamenei_ir). It was just after questioning the reliability of the Corona 19 vaccine manufactured in the United States and the United Kingdom.

Former President Trump has also been suspended forever on Twitter. Twitter permanently suspended the account (@realDonaldTrump) in the name of former President Trump after the U.S. Congressional riots on the 8th.
