No, it’s not the same thing. Speeding is a traffic violation, sharing/distributing public information is not against the law.
Of course twitter is free to change their policy stating that this is not allowed with their product, after all it is a commercial product and the principle of freedom of expression does not apply (although many people seem to think). It would be different if Twitter were a government platform, but it’s not.

What matters here is Mr. Moss’ hypocrisy. In fact, I wouldn’t be surprised if his motivation behind acquiring Twitter stemmed from the fact that he wanted to get rid of this “tracker.” It doesn’t fit your image of a do-gooder very well if you travel so much in your own private jet.
And he knows very well (because he’s certainly not stupid) that this information is public, but that most people don’t bother looking at it unless they come across it on social media.

This man is a narcissist and also has the means to impose much of his will, making him a very dangerous individual (like most people who have too many resources (and therefore power) at their disposal).

To avoid fanboy complaints: I don’t belittle his accomplishments and what he’s achieved. In fact, I’m of the belief that you have to have a certain amount of narcissism to make it to the top. However, that doesn’t make you a do-gooder. You can donate a million to charity while also maintaining sweatshops in Asia to keep your production as cheap as possible (for example, I’m not saying Mr. Musk does, although I wouldn’t be surprised).

A donation then becomes more of a ransom, as you had in Catholicism long ago (you could literally buy a place in heaven as an aristocrat). In my opinion, the good deed doesn’t outweigh the bad, but that’s personal.

Right now he shows his double face very clearly. What still eludes me, however, is the link between the flight data (because that’s what Mr. Sweeney is showing as I understand it) and the car that’s under siege, because there’s no real-time tracker anyway about Mr. Sweeney.
