Twitter suspended the account for tracking Musk’s private jet

A student had documented the flight movements of Musk’s private jet with the help of a computer bot. The account is now blocked, even though the Twitter boss previously announced that the account would be allowed.

San Francisco – Twitter has blocked an account that previously followed CEO Elon Musk’s private jet. The account was created by college student Jack Sweeney, who used an automated bot to evaluate publicly available flight data to determine and document the flight movements of Musk’s jets.

Musk explained in a tweet that the bot account, which was deactivated a few hours earlier, violated the Internet platform’s user guidelines. The Twitter boss announced in November that he was so committed to free speech that he allowed the account, even though it posed a risk to his safety.
