Wie is Elon Musk?
Musk was born in Pretoria, South Africa, to a Canadian model and an engineer from South Africa. When Musk was 12 years old, he made his first deal: he made a video game and sold it for $500.
Musk moved to Canada in 1989 where he studied. He later studied physics and economics at an American university. He then went to the prestigious University of Stanford, but quickly dropped out and founded an Internet company with his brother.
After that, Musk had an online payment platform that became PayPal after a merger, and was later sold to eBay. In 2002 he founded the space company SpaceX, a year later he became involved with Tesla, producer of electric cars. In 2008, during the financial crisis, he took over the management of the company. Musk owes his fortune mainly to Tesla.
