Twitter Spaces will allow you to record and share voice chats

Twitter already has the function that allows recording of audio conversations that take place in their Spaces. At the moment it is not available to all users and is being tested in a select group of them, also initially only from the app for iOS, although the social network ensures that over the next few weeks it will begin to be used as generalized way.

Sharing the recording of Spaces’ voice chats on Twitter will allow those who could not access live to recover their content

Thanks to the incorporation of this function, access to the contents of these voice chat will be allowed to those who could not attend them live, provided that the administrator of said conversation activated the recording option, since these conversations are not recorded by default.

As a consequence of this possibility, the tweets that include the promotion of a voice chat in Spaces will incorporate the link from which to listen to said recording, instead of the usual announcement of the end of the conversation.

Participants in the Spaces voice chat will receive a notification that the recording is in progress by means of a specific icon. For their part, the administrators who call one of these conversations they will have their recordings available for 30 days, being able to delete them at any time within that period.

To make sure in case of possible complaints about abusive or hateful content, Twitter ensures that it will keep the recordings for 120 days in order to verify their content.
