After Clubhouse hit a nerve with its live audio app, the established social networks are also jumping on the bandwagon. Twitter has the edge over Facebook.

At the beginning of February, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg made his appearance at Clubhouse. He’s not the first tech celebrity to be seen there. Shortly before, Tesla founder Elon Musk had stopped by. And yet it was special, since many observers had already expected that history will repeat itself in the Clubhouse case: a new, promising social network appears – and Facebook either buys it or copies it. This is what happened with Instagram (bought) or Tiktok (copied), among others.
