After several months of testing, Twitter has finally added its new look to the platform, with a new font, high-contrast modes, and a web version, according to the company, more accessible. The idea is that some elements of the red social appear more prominently, in bold and larger letters.
Twitter’s new design also changes the use of color on the platform, using high contrasts and reducing the use of blue to give more prominence to user photos and videos. The buttons, like the follow buttons, also become high contrast.
Twitter’s Product Manager himself, Kayvon Beykpour, has assured in a tweet that this is nothing more than the beginning of more changes that are yet to come.
However, what has caused the most controversy among Twitter users is the change in appearance of the ‘follow’ button. According to some users, the new button color creates confusion.
“In the new version of Twitter there is a change in the button continue. Perhaps for this reason, I involuntarily stopped following a tweeter ”, is one of the claims published on the social network. While another user points out that the new design is driving him crazy. For its part, the company ensures that this modification reduces the visual load.
