Twitter will now only allow paid subscribers to vote on key decisions related to its policies. It was one of the first messages Elon Musk sent to the world via the platform after a Twitter poll showed a majority voted for him to resign.
“Twitter will make that adjustment,” Musk responded to a proposal by unknown user “Unfiltered Boss” to allow only customers of the paid Twitter Blue service to vote in the future. The billionaire had previously promised to organize polls on Twitter’s policies on the platform.

Mr. Musk has yet to respond to the poll result asking whether he should stay or leave as a Twitter executive. More than ten million people, or 57.5% of all voters, voted for him to leave.
Twitter near brain death
The billionaire popped the question shortly after attending the World Cup final in Qatar, where he was photographed in the presence of Donald Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner. “Should I step down as head of Twitter? I will respect the result of this ballot,” he wrote during the ballot.
