Twitter launches Spaces on Android, a Clubhouse-like feature

Jakarta (ANTARA) – Twitter has officially announced that the Spaces feature can now be used on Android devices.

“Spaces will be present in a matter of days and Android users can now follow, listen and talk on Spaces,” Twitter said in an official statement, quoted Thursday.

Spaces has been on Twitter since December last year, as live chat rooms in audio format. This feature was tested on iOS users first.

This feature launched is similar to the Clubhouse application, which is being loved by the public.

To follow the ongoing discussion at Spaces, users can look for a purple circle in the Fleet row of the Twitter application, then click the circle.

Apart from clicking Fleet, users can also join the Spaces chat room via the shared link.

Twitter enables the emoji feature, captions in Spaces, other users can also be invited to speak in the discussion.

Users can see who has joined the discussion room and give a title to the discussion room.

Twitter will add Spaces capabilities in the future.
