Twitter is testing a new function of Tweet Audio: Okezone Techno

TWEET Audio seems to be in demand by social media users Indonesia. They said they were testing a new feature that would allow users to send voice messages to each other directly. This work started in Brazil.

Starting from Slashgear, Thursday (9/24/2020), Twitter’s product manager immediately sent Alex Ackerman-Greenberg’s message to the media Edge that this new feature is the answer to users who want more ways to express themselves in Twitter conversations, both privately and publicly.

Subsequent playback settings are limited to message playback and pause, but can also record voice messages directly. If a user is abusing a new feature, there is an opportunity to report it.

As Twitter pointed out when it started testing audio tweets on iOS. Voicemail adds a “more human touch” to using the chat platform. So don’t be surprised if they tested it with the DM format.

While voicemail is a relatively new type of Twitter, it’s a feature that can be found in many other applications. For example on Facebook, which can send voice messages via Messenger, Instagram and WhatsApp.
