Twitter is investigating whether, as with Facebook, a number of emojis should appear below tweets that allow other users to respond quickly. Now only a heart is possible as a quick response to a tweet.
Twitter confirms against Techcrunch that it is researching the possibility for reaction emojis, but stresses that it is not yet certain that the feature will actually be realized. In a user survey, of which a twitterer john d moore screenshots, include emojis to express support and anger.
Twitter simultaneously polls users whether people would be less likely to tweet if it becomes possible to leave a negative reaction emoji underneath. The feature is very similar to the comments Facebook several years ago and is intended to get people to respond quickly without having to write a response.
