Suara.com – Twitter launches new feature Security Mode (Safety Mode) which will automatically temporarily block accounts that send you malicious or abusive tweets.
Security Mode is rolling out in beta with “small feedback groups” accounts on iOS, Android, and Twitter.com.
The English setting enabled and the planned test group will be expanded in the coming months.
“When the feature is enabled in your Settings, our system will assess the possibility of negative engagement taking into account the Tweet’s content and the relationship between the Tweet author and the responder,” said senior product manager Jarrod Doherty in a blog post.

“Our technology takes into account existing relationships, so accounts that you follow or interact with frequently will not be automatically blocked,” he said. The Verge, Thursday (2/9/2021).
Accounts are temporarily blocked for seven days, but the company says you can unblock auto-blocks created in error.
Twitter showcased Security Mode last February in its Analyst Day presentation, but at the time it was unknown when it would officially launch.
This is Twitter’s newest feature, in an effort to reduce abuse on the platform.
Other recent features include hiding replies, letting people limit who can reply to their posts, and displaying a warning before you tweet a potentially dangerous reply.
