MOSCOW (dpa-AFX) – The short message service Twitter is no longer threatened with a blockade in Russia for the time being. The Roskomnadzor media supervisory authority decided on Monday. She threatened to take this step if the US company did not remove prohibited content such as child pornography by mid-May. This has happened to 91 percent so far. Critics see the procedure as an attempt to restrict the right to freedom of expression on the Internet.
