After Australia and Canada, Twitter Blue arrives in the United States and New Zealand. And soon in France?
A few months ago, Twitter announced its new subscription service, a service called Twitter Blue. It was originally launched in Australia and Canada, but today it looks like the company is enjoying feedback from early subscribers. Indeed, if you were interested in this subscription, know that this Twitter Blue is now available in the United States and New Zealand, bringing the number of countries eligible to benefit to four. Still not in France, of course, but it bodes well.

Offered at $ 2.99 per month, according to the Twitter release: “In pursuit of our commitment to strengthening and supporting publishers and free press, a share of the revenue generated from Twitter Blue subscriptions goes directly to publishers who are part of. our network. Our goal is to help each publisher partner generate 50% more per person than they would generate by serving ads to that person. ”
For those who do not know, Twitter Blue is a subscription that offers subscribers additional features, therefore not available to users of the free plan. This concerns in particular the removal of advertisements, the ability to customize the navigation bar for a more personal experience as well as the possibility to cancel the sending of tweets.
And soon in France?
This last function is implemented as follows: a small window appears after a tweet has been published, informing that it is possible to cancel the sending, without the text being seen by other users. This is unlike the traditional deletion of a tweet which leaves the tweet visible until it is deleted, and therefore the possibility of it being immortalized. And these are just some of the benefits offered by Twitter Blue.
In other words, depending on your use of Twitter and your day-to-day needs, maybe Twitter Blue could be of interest to you. Still, the subscription is not yet available in France. No doubt it should be soon.
