Twitter users will be able to appeal against the suspension of their accounts on the social media platform in the future. This regulation will apply from February 1st, Twitter announced yesterday (local time).
Under new criteria introduced after Tesla CEO Elon Musk bought the company, Twitter accounts will only be suspended for serious, persistent and repeated violations of the social media platform’s policies.
Serious violations include illegal content or activities, inciting or threatening violence or harm, and targeted harassment of users.
