Twitter adds the first visual tools in fleets with stickers and ‘Twemojis’ – EzAnime.net

The Twitter version of Stories, called ‘Fleet’, for ideas that are ‘fleeting’, is pretty much the same as Instagram or Snapchat Stories, but without the additional engagement options of fun editing tools and AR effects. . But it provides another connecting surface within the platform, and fleets occupy a privileged space in the application, at the top of the timeline.

As such, it may be worth experimenting with, and this week, Twitter has taken the first steps to expand its Fleet options with new ‘Twemoji’ stickers for Fleet in Japan.

As you can see here, the new sticker tray, which you can access by tapping the smiley face icon in the Fleets composer, provides a search option to help users locate the correct sticker for their image or post. video, while Twemoji decals will help convey a mood when added to your Fleet frame.

Of course, you can already replicate these Twemoji reactions using the emoji buttons in the text tool. The stickers, however, add a more organic and layered variation, which you can also move and position more freely.

It seems inevitable that we will eventually get more visual tools like this in Fleets, and you’d think probably AR functionality as well. As noted, Twitter works from behind, with improvements available on other platforms that are already well advanced and evolving every day.

Twitter acquired Chroma Labs last year, the team behind Chroma Stories, an app that allowed users to add a variety of stylistic frames and filter options to their Stories content.

At the time of acquisition, it seemed like adding similar tools on Twitter was a no-brainer, but so far we haven’t seen them coming.

These new stickers could be the first step in this direction, while on another front, Twitter is also looking to further incorporate its new audio spaces into its Fleets tools.

Fleet Space

Users of the Spaces beta testing group can now create an audio space from the Fleets composition options by sliding the function bar to ‘Space’.

That’s really an expansion for Spaces specifically, and it’s not related to Fleets. But still, by asking more users to turn on the Fleets composer, you might as well make it more of a consideration in the process.

It is still too early to say if fleets will become something, but as noted, they have a prime location and the extra attention to spaces could make them more widely considered. Visual enhancements and effects could take it to another level, and they may be coming soon.

Fleet stickers are now available for iOS users in Japan. Nothing is known about an expansion yet.
