Twitter account of the Citizen Security of Irapuato, Guanajuato is hacked – El Sol de Salamanca

The Twitter accountsr of the Secretary of Citizen Security of Irapuato and Civil Protection and Firefighters were hacked during Thursday afternoon.

It was at 4:37 in the afternoon when a meme was published on the page of the Secretary of Citizen Security, which immediately began to be retweeted on Twitter.

Even, there were several users who used the tool “#Stamp” the Twitter, which is used to make a backup of a tweet, to later be seen the original publication, in case it is deleted.

Given this, the Municipal Government issued a statement, in which it confirmed that both The Twitter account of the Secretariat of Citizen Security as well as the Civil Protection and Fire Department had been hacked, so they were already working on their recovery.

For this reason, they warned to ignore the messages issued in these accounts “that have nothing to do with security issues.”

The Twitter account of the Secretariat of Citizen Security of Irapuato has six thousand 383 followers, while the Civil Protection and Fire Department has two thousand 633 followers; however, only in the first one the meme continued almost two hours after it was published.
