Lhe social network Twitter has decided to block the account of the president of Vlaams Belang Tom Van Grieken for accusations against the president of the Antwerp section of Vooruit (ex-sp.a), writes the Laatste Nieuws on Friday.
Mr Van Grieken wrote on Twitter that Stef Vonk decorates his house “with posters of mass killers like Stalin and communist propaganda”.
–
The president of Vlaams Belang also shared a selfie of Mr. Vonk where he is seen posing in front of a drawing of Stalin hanging in his toilet. “Is this the new #Vooruit movement?” Mr. Van Grieken had launched.
–
This tweet dates from September 13 already, but the boss of the VB had rebroadcast it this week in response to a question from Stef Vonk asking the Twitter community for a good profile picture.
–
“I suggested that he again use the photo where he proudly poses with communist mass killers like Lenin or Stalin. He then blocked me and I suppose also denounced (to Twitter). My account is therefore locked ”, explains Mr Van Grieken to Laatste Nieuws.
The social network accuses him of having violated its rules of use, namely the dissemination of images of a person residing in a country where the right to privacy is guaranteed for legislation.
If he wants to regain the right to express himself on the blue bird network, Mr. Van Grieken will first have to delete his controversial message, Twitter told him.
