Twitch Introduces Update Allowing Streamers to Block Banned Users from Watching Live Streams

Twitch announces a new update that will allow streamers to block banned users from watching their live streams, even if they are not connected to Twitch. The update is scheduled to be released in September.

To activate the new feature, streamers will need to go to their settings and select the “Block users who are blocked from watching broadcasts” option. Once you select the option, any blocked user will be prevented from watching the broadcast, even if they are not connected to Twitch.

This update is a welcome addition, especially for streamers who have been harassed by banned users. It will make it difficult for blocked users to continue to harass them, and give platform users a sense of security and comfort.
