While acknowledging past school violence by Lee Jae-young and Da-young Lee of Pink Spiders, a female professional volleyball player, suspicion was raised that Kim Kyung-hee (55), the mother of the twin sisters, was involved in the team tactics.
On the 14th, a post titled’I am a parent of volleyball victims’ was posted on the online community. The author added, “I think that my children remember things that have been 10 years in their minds, so as parents, I don’t think I can do it.”
In the post that released a pamphlet produced during the ‘2011 Spring National Used Volleyball Federation for Men and Women’ as a certified photo, the netizen said, “I had a lot of thoughts when I was in contact with the news for a few days and reading the articles posted by children.”
The netizen said, “When I went to the stadium, I played volleyball only with twins, and the rest was volleyball that only kept my seat,” said this netizen. I’ve heard the word several times.”
“The parents of Geun-young (girls’ middle school volleyball club) heard directly. In the parent’s room of the stadium, I heard Kim Kyung-hee making a (coaching) phone call to her daughter. “To be precise,’Put the ball on your sister. “How do you do it?” he said, “I heard exactly what he was coaching.” Kim Kyung-hee is from the national volleyball team.
The author criticized, “Heungkuk Life Insurance, Korea Volleyball Association, Korea Sports Association. Are you a bystander now?” He added, “There are children who have been damaged, and there are not one or two people, but they are only paying attention to each other. Jae-young Lee and Lee Da-young seem not intent to apologize to the victims, so strict punishment should be given accordingly.”
Earlier on the 10th, sisters Lee Jae-young and Lee Da-young admitted and apologized through Instagram. Afterwards, on the 13th, an online community reported that a netizen who played together in the middle school volleyball club claimed to be “another victim” and further disclosure continued.
It is known that Heungkuk Life Insurance and the Korean Volleyball Federation are struggling with the disciplinary level of the two players. In an interview with a media outlet, Heungkuk Life Insurance said, “Currently, the two players are in very poor condition, so they need to be in a state of mind and body. Disciplinary action should be taken when the player is in an acceptable mental and physical state.” .
Meanwhile, Kim Kyung-hee, the mother of twin sisters Lee Jae-young and Lee Da-young, played as a setter in the women’s volleyball team at the 1988 Seoul Olympics. Last year, he was awarded the’Grand Parent Award’ hosted by the Volleyball Association.
When the sisters came to eat a pot of rice at Heungkuk Life Insurance, they stressed that “volleyball is a team game, so they must make sacrifices so that they can give up and help each other to support other fellow players.”
