The FIA Motorsport Games is a multi-series race that includes 26 categories and took place at the end of October at the Valencia circuit. The Czech colors had their representatives in several categories, but the team Janík Motorsport with Adam Kout, vice-champion of the TCR Eastern Europe series, excelled in touring cars.
Corner behind the wheel of the special Hyundai Elantra N did not have an easy race, because he got into two incidents on the circuit, which hindered his otherwise well-trodden path to the medal.
Immediately after a successful start, he fought his way to third place after the first corner, where he probably made light contact with the Cupra car of a rival named Eric Gené, causing Kout to lose several positions.
Throughout the rest of the race, the Czech pilot was catching up, but in the last lap he was involved in a second incident with Aurélien Comte, also in the Cupra. Although the Frenchman received a 20-second penalty, Kout had to contend with additional contact in addition to the challenging track conditions.

Kout had a great start. However, the first incident came after him.
It would seem that bad luck is coming to the Czech Republic in touring cars, moreover, the situation was not made easier by the wet tires that the drivers put on due to the pre-start rain. The representative of our country and the Janík Motorsport team finally crossed the finish line in sixth place, which is a great result, but not a medal.

But then came the word of the penalties that Eric Gené, Aurélien Comte, and Marco Butti received (he finished ahead of Kout, but was disqualified), which finally put Adam in the bronze position. He subsequently commented on the situation for the TouringCarTimes server as follows.
“It was a goal we set for ourselves. It wasn’t the best way to do it, but in the end we got to the box,” said Kout. “I am happy to achieve this result in my first international event,” added the pilot.
In addition, the Czechs from the FIA Motorsport Games 2024 took home bronze from the virtual touring car race, silver from the virtual Formula 4 series or perhaps bronze from the rally of historic vehicles. So, guys, thank you and we look forward to your future success!
