Twenty-four students from the IUT d’Allier in fourteen after the discovery of positive cases in Montluçon and Vichy

Twenty-four students from the IUT d’Allier (twenty in Montluçon and four in Vichy) are currently in their fourteen homes. These are two young people with Covid-19 and their contact cases.

We learned that a student from Montluçon and a student from Vichy were positive for Covid-19 this weekend. We then set up the backup procedure so that students who have been in contact with them stay at home.

Students should be tested

Fourteen students are strongly encouraged to get tested. They could benefit from distance learning courses while awaiting their return to the site.

For the moment nothing has been set up, but we will see that with the heads of the departments of the IUT concerned.

The 1,200 students of the IUT d’Allier made their start on Tuesday September 1st. The mask is compulsory on the three campuses of Montluçon, Moulins and Vichy. Currently the health protocol set up by Clermont Auvergne University on which IUT d’Allier depends is at risk level 1, that is to say a low circulation of the virus.
