Twente have now decided not to allow their own supporters to go to the match against Hammarby.
“It is an incredibly difficult and tough decision, but we believe we must take our responsibility and are forced to do so,” they announce on their official website.
The Dutch club has thus changed its previous announcement regarding the Stockholm trip due to the security situation.

After the riots in the stands in Enschede last week, Twente does not allow supporters to be brought to the away match against Hammarby on Thursday.
“We are very aware that this is a big disappointment for many, as they have been looking forward to this European trip for several weeks and have already booked,” writes Twente on web page.
The club has made the decision not to issue the tickets and sponsor cards for the match at Tele2 Arena.
“Security Mode Information”
The reason is the security situation after the unrest with the stand brawl in the first meeting.
“We had to reconsider Saturday’s announcement because new information has come in about the security situation for our supporters who were going to travel to Stockholm. This information, combined with last Thursday’s disturbances inside and outside the stadium, has given this new insight,” writes Twente.
They will partially reimburse fans for tickets, flights and overnight stays.
CEO Paul van der Kraan announces that he himself will not be going and that the Twente delegation traveling to Stockholm will be kept to a minimum.
Attacked Bajen section
It has previously been reported that around 1,500 Twente supporters would make it to Stockholm.
During the stand chaos in the first match, several Hammarby supporters were beaten and one person had to be taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Hammarby has commented on the latest announcement from Twente.
“We consider the situation unfortunate as we want to preserve supporter culture and were looking forward to inviting the opposing team’s supporters to the Tele2 Arena, but respect the decision that Twente has made,” comments the club.
Twente won the match at home on Thursday night 1-0.
The teams meet in the second qualifying round for the Europa Conference League.
