The number of corona infections in the province of Groningen has increased by twelve since Sunday. This is evident from figures released by RIVM on Monday. Nine residents of the municipality of Groningen were tested positive.
In addition to Groningen, new COVID-19 cases were also found in the municipalities of Appingedam (1), Midden-Groningen (1) and Het Hogeland (1). Since the outbreak of the virus in the Netherlands, 335 positive tests have been carried out among residents of the municipality of Groningen.
To date, 644 positive tests have been carried out in the province of Groningen. 75 residents were admitted to hospital with an infection. 19 people died from COVID-19.
