The author, Susana del Río, reviews the values of the EU through the women who forge Europe
the book Twelve European Women: Building the European Unionby Susana del Río, has been selected as Book of the Month for October 2024 by the Universidad de Granada Publishing House. The book can be found in regular bookstores at the special price of 18 euros.
This book is about the women and men who forge Europe, who make possible the survival and advancement of the project and process of European integration as a relevant mission. Also exciting. Susana del Río writes a European essay in which she talks about values and a living EU, politics and its meaning and European elections. Del Río analyzes the milestones of European construction through the lives of twelve women alongside the young pearlanonymous woman, representing all women. The twelve is joined to the symbol of the number of stars on the EU flag.
