“This edition of the festival, dedicated to La Gracia, which reaches its 12th edition, will be a great opportunity to dialogue and reflect on the sacred, above religious, cultural and musical preferences. We have worked very strictly on the programming, giving an important space to contemporary sacred music (we will have several premieres of works in Colombia and several world premieres). We also highlight the musicological recovery of the Bogotá Cathedral archives, I also highlight the space for ancestral and traditional music from different regions of Colombia and the world. Diversity, respect, dialogue, spirituality, all through music, is what we will experience this year. Music unites us”, said the director of the festival, Marianna Piotrowska.

The official image of the festival, made by Colombian artist Carolina Convers, reflects this year’s central theme: La Gracia. In this regard, Piotrowska stated that “every year we dedicate the festival to a value, a value that we consider important to promote in a country like Colombia. Reconciliation, mercy, harmony, brotherhood and this year the central theme is grace. We are going to understand this gift from different perspectives, visions and beliefs, through music”.
