TVPlay4 will soon come with a brand new TV program: ‘The Perfect Picture’. In it, eight well-known Flemish people get to work with photography in an original way. It is not yet known who will participate. But Manu Van Acker (22) will present the photography competition.
The eight well-known participants compete against each other weekly in a professional photography competition. Each episode they get two challenging assignments in which they have to show their creativity and technical skills. Because none of them are professionally engaged in photography, the well-known Flemish people have to step out of their comfort zone. The viewer gets to know the participants in a different way: this time they are behind the lens of the camera, instead of in front of it. The professional jury awards points to the submitted photos and each week the candidate with the lowest score is eliminated. The two best photographers compete against each other in the final. This will show who can crown themselves the winner of ‘Het Perfecte Plaatje’.
It is not yet known who will compete, but the presentation is already in the hands of Manu Van Acker. He is known for his radio show at MNM and his own section in ‘Everyone Famous’. In the past, Van Acker could already be seen in ‘Nonkels’, ‘Café De Mol’ and ‘De Tafel van Vier’. But with ‘The Perfect Picture’ his first major presentation assignment is a fact. “I am really looking forward to presenting this program and discovering the surprising and funny things that happen when you give eight famous people a camera,” said the presenter.
Viewing figure gun in the Netherlands
In the Netherlands, ‘Het Perfecte Plaatje’ has been running for several years. The program grew into a real viewing figure gun. Many well-known Dutch people, including Heleen Van Royen, Gordon, Patricia Paay, Humberto Tan, Babette Van Veen and even Countess Eloise van Oranje have already taken part. They threw everything into the battle to take the ultimate photo and have a chance to win the final victory.
When ‘The Perfect Picture’ will be shown on Play4 is not yet known.
