This week, four well-known Latgalians take part in the TV3 show “Almost Ideal Dinner” – musician Arnis Slobozanins, X Factor colorist and tractor specialist Margarita Kolosova, actor Kārlis Tols and “Dzīļi” bakery owner and cake baker Aina Barsukova.
The scene, which has the most experience in cooking and hosting guests in this company’s company this week, had decided to pamper its new friends on the second evening with quite delicious dishes that taste good.
While getting acquainted with the menu, Arnis did not hide the fact that he already had saliva in his mouth, but Margarita, who did not know what arugula was before Ars’ dinner, now admitted that she did not know what tartar was. “Are they any salads?” the guess was made by a colorful farmer and a mother of five.
In the snack, Aina brought to the table not only duck liver and trout, but also two types of tartar – pikeperch and beef. While the stronger sex ate tartars in praise, Margarita made no secret of the fact that the raw meat dish was not to her taste and would never be made at home. Read more here!
Also in the main course, Aina served something quite exquisite – fried lamb shank with mint and vegetables, which was appreciated by the dinners.
“Eating like this,” Margarita sighed. But the fact is: we eat too fast. We tap our bellies, we need to take a break. ” As she suggested, after a snack it would have been good to run around the house three times.
Margarita was not only pleased with the lamb: “It is cool that we have met like this. Who understand each other from a half-word. You know that whatever stuff you put in, they won’t take it in mind. ”
Without much delay, the hostess also brought to the table a dessert made from rye bread. Whipped cream and seasonal berries.
Following the best traditions of the dinner show to initiate a good table conversation, Kārlis wanted to find out whether it is stylish to follow a diet in Latgale. The housewife said that no one with them diets, but eats what tastes good.
“Totally agree. Just look at me – no diet at all and I feel normal, ”Margarita echoed the hostess.
Today, however, popular veganism caused controversy in the company. While Arnis praised the experience he had gained while staying in Riga for two days and eating vegan food, Margarita was more direct: “A normal guy goes to Riga, ate twice -” everything tastes soy to me now “. We lose the guy.
There are no more boys in Latgale. Who, then, will cast that shit out of the barn, that he cannot take the forks? He will stand and sway with his forks. ”
After the precious arrival, the company took a deep breath and, accompanied by Aina, went to have fun at the Šmakovka Museum in Malnava.
For the evening as a whole, Aina received 30 points or the maximum from the maximum, demonstrating a real sample hour of cooking and receiving guests.
