On the third evening of the entertaining cooking show “Almost Perfect Dinner”, the guests were received in their friend’s apartment by a Brazilian footballer, rapper, model and “influencer” living in Latvia Felipe Gabriel Xavier.
Felipe’s guests – Inese Ozola, the owner of the Amoralle brand, Vita Balchunaite, the singing actress and event manager, and Miķelis Visocki, the creative director of Sigulda Adventures, received their friends in the apartment.
Each of the trio had their own versions of what to expect at dinner at Felipe. Michael thought he could expect some more spicy food from Brazilian cuisine. “Maybe a change after a more alcoholic drink to rinse,” Miķelis admitted.
A person who asks if I like Rollton can’t make anything healthy. But on the other hand, Felipe is full of surprises, ”said Inese. Later, she didn’t hide how happy it was that Felipe wouldn’t make Rollton.
The footballer surprised the guests with great dedication, an unusual menu, lots of drinks and heartfelt stories.
Felipe served something very simple in the snack – squeezed slices of white bread with seafood paste, but the main course was a traditional Brazilian dish – fried chicken, sausages, beans, rice, potato straws and fresh salad. “A bouquet of different flavors on one plate,” Vita evaluated the main course. But Inese said that she had not expected such a multicolored dish from Felipe.
For dessert, Felipe served avocado cream in the style of the Xavier family. “The dessert was a complete surprise! One would not imagine an avocado with sugar, although it is so elementary. And together with the milk, he tasted the airy cream, ”Inese was enthusiastic about the simple sweet dish to be prepared, and the guests all decided to make something like this themselves.
Finally there was an evening attraction, and Felipe presented his guests with a version of birpong, where cider was replaced by beer, but the usual ball was replaced by a badminton ruffle, and the quartet split into two teams – Felipe was paired with Inese and Miķelis with Vita. As Vita summed up, friendship won the game.
