TV writer reported an accident Rachel Green made a mistake on a first episode of Friends and wondered how many mistakes we might have missed over the 10 seasons of the series.

No matter how good a TV show or movie is, there is always a chance that mistakes will slide through the web.

Who can forget the takeaway coffee cup that found its way into a Game of Thrones banquet scene or the moment a stormtrooper was caught banging his head against a door frame in the 1977 Star Wars film? : Episode IV – A New Hope?

Jeffrey Klarik, writer and producer of episodic television series, discovered such an accident in a season two episode of Friends in a scene in which Rachel (Jennifer Aniston) is surprised by the news that Ross (David Schwimmer) and his family are Girlfriend Julie (Lauren Tom) collect a cat.

In the first of two side-by-side photos that Jeffrey shared on Twitter, Rachel is caught next to Monica (Courteney Cox) wearing a white t-shirt and necklace while carrying a tray in the Central Perk cafe.

In the second shot, her necklace has mysteriously disappeared.

Several Twitter users commented under the tweet that when looking at the two images they found not just one, but several continuity errors.

The episode where the continuity error seems to be one of the most important of the entire series, as Ross finds out, Rachel has romantic feelings about her.

In the penultimate scene of the episode, the couple won’t share their first real kiss after receiving their (kind of) first kiss in a season one episode titled The One. With the East German detergent.

Jeffrey’s partner is David Crane, a co-creator of Friends.

The couple worked together on BBC sitcom episodes in which Friends star Matt LeBlanc appeared as the satirical version of himself.

The episodes premiered in 2011 before ending six years later.

Friends can be viewed on Netflix.
