TV viewer needs humor and films during corona crisis NOW

Dutch television viewers currently have a greater need for humor, cabaret and satire, according to research that was commissioned by the NPO. It is also appreciated if more films are broadcast on television.

32 percent of the more than four thousand television viewers aged thirteen or older need more humor and comedy and 28 percent want to see more foreign films, according to the research carried out by research agency GfK.

24 percent would rather see some more home-grown films. A quarter of the respondents currently miss concerts and (nature) documentaries on television.

The question that people would most like to look at again was answered most often with André van Duin, Van Kooten and De Bie and the program Swiebertje. In addition, the Dutch would like repetitions of Who is the mole? see.

In response to the investigation, the public broadcaster announced that the range of classic foreign films will be expanded. For example, a foreign film will be broadcast on NPO2 every Thursday afternoon.
