Last year, Verhulst reached exactly 200,000 viewers with its very first episode. Not overwhelmed for a news show that doesn’t rely on delayed viewers, and there were even fewer on Monday. His talk show ‘Gert’s table’ is opposite soaps ‘Thuis’ (889.636) on VRT 1 and ‘Familie’ (524.273) on VTM and Verhulst does not seem to be able to win over those souls. With 192,059 viewers, ‘De Afspraak’ on Canvas attracted about 6,000 more viewers than Gert.
Arnout Hauben does score. His ‘Interview with History’ reached 675,155 on Monday, another increase after last week’s 649,000. ‘Blind Married’ also attracted many viewers, 497,659 to be precise. Including deferred viewing, this amounts to one million and 800,000 viewers respectively. ‘Celebrity Masterchef Flanders’ is also doing well after a delay. The cooking program reached 219,948 viewers yesterday, but if postponed, that number will almost double.
