In the middle of this ORF “Tatort” there is a scene in which a homeless woman, called “Sackerl-Grete” in the very best Viennese style, is given something to eat by the inspectors. She actually broke with society, after all – as you learn – she lost everything in the financial crash.
But now, and because it fits into the story, she can be soothed with hot cocoa, finally runs after the investigators and, on the whole, is of course not a person who has made it downstairs. It’s a prime-time cartoon of a person who has arrived below.
