Presenter Hélène Hendriks cannot be seen on television on Thursday evening due to the death of her father. Her colleague Wilfred Genee announced this during the preview of the football match between Feyenoord and AS Roma at Veronica.
“You will have to make do with me, unfortunately due to sad circumstances,” Genee told analysts Kees Jansma and Wim Kieft. “We want to wish her a lot of strength and condolences from this place. We hope she can be there again soon.”
Last Friday, Hendriks was also not present at the last broadcast of the talk show HLF8 on SBS6. She presented that program together with Johnny de Mol and Sam Hagens.
De Mol then announced that Hendriks could not be there due to “private circumstances”. It is not known whether they had anything to do with her father.
