The latest transmissions temporarily offered to users who do not yet have a television or decoder capable of receiving HD signals will then be definitively interrupted.
Against this further stage of modernization of digital terrestrial broadcasting, Mediaset will increase the broadcasting quality of its channels to the point of offering 13 high definition channels. In fact, Canale5, Rete4, Italia1 and 20Mediaset, which already broadcast in HD, will be joined by Iris, 27TwentySeven, La5, Cine34, Focus, TopCrime, Mediaset Italia2, TgCom24 and Mediaset Extra which will bring their transmission quality to high definition.
For those who already receive Mediaset channels in the first 100 numbers of the remote control, it will not be necessary to do anything: on 21 December their transmission quality will pass from the current format to high definition without any retuning being necessary.
For viewers who instead receive Mediaset channels only at 104,105,106,120 and within the numbering range 500, it will be necessary to replace the old TV or decoder with a new generation one capable of receiving signals in high definition compatible with all the main on-demand television services free of television broadcasters.
