Dortmund. Five clubs have been awarded the Future Prize by the ‘Football Foundations Future’ network. The prize, worth 5,000 euros, was awarded in the German Football Museum in Dortmund. For the first time, five football clubs are among the winners of the award. All received the award for outstanding commitment in the field of social or ecological commitment. The network comprises 37 foundations, including current and former national player foundations, some professional clubs, as well as the DFB foundations and the DFL foundation.

Award winners include the FC International Berlin 1980 with the “Interaction” project, the Ibbenbuerener Kickers/Cheruskia Laggenbeck with the project “Football for all”. DJK/FC Ziegelhausen-Peterstal 1926 with the “Transparency” project e Forward Spoho 1998 with the project “Act Fair. On and off the pitch”. With the Fischbek television from 1921 with the project “Hamburg District – Neugraben – Fischbek” also a Hamburg club from the south of the city is on the list of illustrious clubs.

In addition to the award, all projects also benefit from mentoring, job shadowing and exchange programmes. The personality of the founder Manuel Neuer was satisfied with the great response and underlined the importance of these initiatives.
