The private broadcaster DF1 has increased its reach and is now also available on another streaming platform. We reveal which one it is.

There is growth on the TV platform Joyn. From now on, viewers can also follow the content of the private channel DF1 live and free of charge on the TV streaming platform. The private TV from Unterföhring is expanding the range of around 70 TV channels that can be seen live and without a subscription fee on the ProSiebenSat.1 streaming platform.
In the future also on-demand content
The station’s on-demand content will also be available on Joyn soon, as ProSiebenSat.1 announced today. This means that viewers have even more flexible access to the private broadcaster’s content, it said.
Joyn already makes around 42,000 hours of programming from other broadcasters available for viewing without a subscription fee. These include realities such as “Forsthaus Rampensau”, series such as the SAT.1 success “Die Landarztpraxis”, numerous US films, documentaries and series in entire seasons for bingeing, as well as media libraries and sports content. However, the public broadcasters are not included; as a cross-channel TV streaming platform, Joyn is currently only available as live TV.

DF1 has been on the air since January 1st of this year and, as a free TV channel, offers viewers a wide range of program content. These include documentaries such as “Bergwelten” and “Heimatleuchte”, show formats such as “Quizjagd”, magazines such as “Hubble Mission Universum” as well as series and a wide range of feature films as part of the “DF1 Filmzeit”.
There is also numerous live sports content such as MotoGP, the PENNY DEL Ice Hockey Bundesliga, Formula E, tennis tournaments, football and other exclusive sports rights. The broadcaster also cooperates with the sports streaming platform DAZN.
