The streaming service Strim will now also include TV 2’s streaming service, TV 2 Sumo. From before, Strim customers have had access to a selection of TV channels from TV 2, in addition to a number of other streaming services such as HBO Nordic and Viaplay. This offer is now being expanded considerably.
The streaming service Strim has in the last two years gathered the largest streaming services and content from TV in one simple service. The new agreement with TV 2 now makes all the content from the media house available. Strim therefore now delivers a complete offer and is a perfect replacement for the traditional TV subscription. TV channels from NENT, Discovery, Disney and the BBC, as well as the streaming services Viaplay, HBO Nordic and Paramount +, are already part of Strim.
Strim will be the first to include TV 2 Sumo as part of another streaming service. TV 2 Sumo Film and Series will be included in the main package, and customers can easily buy up to the rest of TV 2’s programs and content.

TV 2 must be where people are at all times, and fill that time with programs, movies and series that mean something to them. Agreements such as this with Strim are therefore important to ensure broad access while maintaining editorial control, says Olav T. Sandnes, editor-in-chief and CEO of TV 2.
However, Strim customers must be patient for a few weeks before gaining access to TV 2 Sumo. Some technical work remains before launch. The agreement with TV 2 also gives Strim access to TV 2 Sport 1 and 2, as well as the opportunity to offer Sumo Premier League and sports. The sports launch, the Strim gang will return to something later.
– Ever since the launch, I have said that the day we launch sports, we will do it properly. Now it loosens up a bit on the content side, and we have a good package ready very soon. There is an incredible amount of exciting happening in Strim during the day, it is very fun that we get more content providers and I can already reveal that there will be more exciting news over the spring, concludes a secretive Jérôme Franck-Sætervoll.
