Yesterday, the Polish Monitor published the resolution of Andrzej Duda on appointing the chairman of the assembly of judges of the Civil Chamber of the Supreme Court. The document mentioned the name of Krzysztof Andrzej Wesołowski, who is a new judge.

Practical consequences
Donald Tusk also referred to the “practical consequences of the signature”.
– The practical consequences of signing the appointment of a new judge are not particularly significant. If I had not signed, anyway, the neo-judge majority would have brought about the things they intend to do. And without statutory changes, we will not fix the situation in the judiciary. I take joint responsibility for what is happening, and in connection with this, I will invite all the groups involved in the matter of restoring the rule of law to consultations, so that we can propose a change in the systemic situation – he said during the conference.
