Turok was one of the wildest shooter series of Nintendo 64 times. Developed by Iguana Entertainment and published by Acclaim, we were pitted against fierce dinosaurs with highly advanced 3D graphics at the time and a variety of weapons, from spears and primitive tools. to alien weapons and plasma rifles. They originally came out in 1997 and 1998.

Nightdive Entertainment, which specializes in recovering classics of this style, released two remasters of Turok: Dinosaur Hunter y Turok 2: Seeds of Evil, on PC, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. Now, its launch is also confirmed in PlayStaton 4, and with a very important addition, online multiplayer.

Both Turoks are now available on PS4, and feature motion controls and 4K graphics on PS4 Pro. In addition, online multiplayer for Turok 2 is added for the first time to the Nintendo Switch version, and cross-play between Switch is enabled. and PS4.

These are the PlayStation 4 controllers that triumph on Amazon, including several versions of the DualShock and some licensed models.

The two Turok games are now available on the PlayStation Store, at the price of 19.99 euros each. Nightdive Entertainment are also behind other remasters, such as that of DOOM 64 that came out accompanying DOOM Eternal. Soon they will also launch Shadow Man Remastered Y Blade Runner Enhanced Edition, although the latter is taking more work.

And if you’re into vintage shooter games, a new version of Star Wars Republic Commando (this one is more recent, from 2005) is coming soon on PS4 and Switch as well. On the other hand, although the Turok saga is already extinct, a game that reminds us a lot of Iguana will soon be released on Xbox One and Xbox Series X Second Extinction.
