Georg Doppler is angry. And he says that too. In a video that is currently spreading like wildfire in social media such as TikTok, Instagram and Facebook, the farmer from Waizenkirchen in the Grieskirchen district railed about a more than questionable internet phenomenon. “Kulitikitaka” is the name of the trend that has been spreading since April via the “TikTok” app, which is popular with young people. In the videos, animals are provoked with a kind of dance to Spanish music. Look for yourself:

Cows are particularly popular “victims”, which makes observers shake their heads against the background of the current events on alpine pastures. As reported several times, there have been repeated attacks by cows on hikers in the recent past – and without any TikTok challenge. In Upper Austria, this has resulted in two paths to the Schieferstein and Hohe Dirn being currently closed. The resident farmer wants to protect himself from any legal consequences if a hiker is injured on the ground by a cow (To the archive report).
“Are there any limits at all?”
Georg Doppler wants to shake things up. On Instagram, the farmer is horrified by the people who scare animals for a video in order to get recognition on the Internet. “What’s next? Are there any limits at all? Is everyone allowed to do everything? No consequences? Just because it is cool and brings a lot of likes?” Writes the farmer and continues: “But woe, something happens, then it becomes called for the mom, or the lawyer, and then you look for the culprit because ‘somebody has to be responsible’. ” The result is “madness for bureaucracy” and over-regulation. “We all have to go back to more personal responsibility and common sense, “is the Waizenkirchner’s appeal.
In his video message, which has been viewed thousands of times since the previous week, he addresses the TikTok users in hearty words and also explains why the challenge is so dangerous. Because especially mother cows would not always flee, but would protect their calves accordingly. You can see the whole video here:
