Tensor cores of Nvidia RTX series graphics cards find new and new applications. In the latest version of the Nvidia Broadcast program, there was a function called laconically On contact.
It can in real time process the data from the web camera so that even when you move your eyes here and there, on the screen you look for other parts of the communication, i.e. you look from side to side. Mimics, including blinking, are preserved and it works with normal head movements, just don’t move it too much aside from that, the correction of the view does not understandably happen, it would still look unnatural.
We tested the new function with the graphics card Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4080 16GB Gaming OC in HAL3000 guise from a recent test and with a Logitech C922Pro web camera. You can judge for yourself how it works in the video.
In a similar way, the function of the same name in Windows 11, however, is only available for the model with an ARM processor from Qualcomm, which you can only find in the minimum model, in the version for Intel, at least not for now. Which is a code, because Intel researchers have been working on a similar system in the past years.
