The country’s health minister, Fahrettin Koca, said that the mass production of the Turkovac vaccine will begin soon. According to him, the production of the drug has already begun at an enterprise in the province of Sanliurfa.
The head of the department noted that the first batches of vaccine will begin to arrive at medical institutions by the end of the year. Koca also clarified that Turkovac is a completely Turkish development. He added that the drug surpasses a number of foreign analogues in some respects.
