‘Turkish Zeynep (19) becomes unconscious in amusement park attraction and dies’ Abroad

The woman was visiting Hayrola Luna Park in Istanbul, Turkey on Monday and ventured into the ‘Kamikaze’ attraction, a swinging colossus where you are stuck in a chair. It was fatal to her. She became unwell during the ride and lost consciousness. She then choked on her own vomit, according to media in the country. The 19-year-old was pronounced dead in hospital, The Daily Mail reports.

Zeynep Gunay wanted to be a psychologist.

Zeynep Gunay wanted to be a psychologist. “She studied day and night.”

The woman’s family is inconsolable and claims that the staff operating the attraction ignored several warnings. Once the Kamikaze had finished, the parents were said to have been told that this was a common occurrence with visitors and that they would have to give Zeynep “two or three blows” in the face to help her recover. After a misunderstanding, the shocked family members had to call the emergency number themselves to have her picked up in the park, but by then it was probably already too late. They are now announcing legal action to get their rights ‘anyway’.

“My daughter was very successful. She studied day and night. Her goal was to become a good psychologist,” the father told local media. The amusement park has not yet responded.
