Today, Saturday, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan sent a message to Turkish citizens, a day before the start of the second round of the presidential elections.

“Tomorrow Sunday, let’s go to the polls together for Turkey’s great victory,” Erdogan wrote on Twitter.

He added, saying in the tweet: “Let us start the Turkish century with our votes, and I appeal to every member of my nation.”

It is noteworthy that on May 14, Turkey witnessed presidential elections, and no candidate received more than 50% of the vote in the first round of the elections.

Turkey is preparing for the second round of the presidential elections, Sunday, in which incumbent President Erdogan and Kılıçdaroğlu will compete, on May 28.

An opinion poll, conducted by the Turkish Research Foundation and published by the Hurriyet newspaper, showed that Erdogan would win the second round of the presidential elections with 53.7% of the vote.

When the respondents were asked about the reason for their vote for Erdogan in the first round, 41.2% answered that they “trust him”, 29.6% answered “stability”, 24.8% answered that he carries out his promises, and 4.4% answered that they chose him as a response to the opposition. .

The elections were described as historic, and that the winner will lead the Turkish Republic to its second centenary, as about 88% of the Turkish people, inside and outside the country, participated in the elections.
